None of us chose when we were born. Few of us will choose when we die. Everything between those two dates, the Dash, is the only thing any of us actually controls. And it is under constant attack.
In this session, Jesse Hardy names the two villains that shadow the executive life. Deception whispers what success is supposed to look like. Distraction keeps leaders too busy to ask whether any of it will still matter in a hundred years. Together they promise life and deliver exhaustion. That is The Lie, and most successful people have built a career around it without ever saying it out loud.
Drawing on his book Your Purpose & Principle Driven Life 2.0, Jesse turns the room toward The Truth and toward the standard Jesus actually uses. He measures Faithfulness, not empire size, plaques on the wall, or the number at the bottom of the page.
Attendees leave with an honest read on whose scorecard they have been running, and one concrete thing that changes Monday. Legacy gets built there, in the ordinary week.
 

Speaker: Jesse Hardy

Jesse Hardy spent more than 30 years climbing from the field to a senior executive in oil, gas, pipeline, and construction, holding EVP, VP, and Director seats where the work came down to keeping people alive on some of the most dangerous jobsites in the country. He holds BS in Computer Science, an MBA, an Master of Education, all but a dissertation for a Ph.D. in Education Administration. By every measure the world uses, he was winning.

He is also a U.S. Marine and bi-vocational Men’s Pastor. Today he runs Purpose & Principle Driven, a life & executive coaching practice out of Dripping Springs, Texas, where he works with leaders who reached the top of the org chart and found the view thinner than promised.

Your Purpose & Principle Driven Life 2.0 came out of that turn. He wrote it for the executive who has the title, the number, and the plaque, and still wonders whether any of it will matter in a hundred years.
